Sooooooooo...... Shawn Mendes is back again on instagram and twitter! My social media is boring af without Shawn tweeting/posting something lol. He revealed why he was being inactive these whole past weeks. He's just had his surgery done and now is in recovering process. AND GUESS WHAT YESTERDAY HE JUST DID A COVER OF SHAPE OF YOU! (sorry no chill hehe). Shape of You is one of my fav Ed's songs (recently) from his upcoming album Divide which will be released this March. Ive honestly been waiting for Shawn to cover this song since this song was released lol bc i know Shawn will sing it better. Im not saying that Ed is bad, he's great and insane and talented and unreal i love him too, he's one of my fav singer bc every song he just wrote will always be a hit. But i got a feeling that Shawn will nail it too bc he always sing every song with passion and in his very own way that gives a lil different touch to the song but still wouldnt change the whole version. Just a bit different bc he puts a bit touch of his own style. But that doesnt matter, every singer does that aight?
AND......... TWO DAYS AGO HE JUST DROPPED ANOTHER ACOUSTIC VERSION OF MERCY! Yup, this time is acoustic guitar version. And this version is so much better than the piano version, if you asked me. The piano version is pretty good too but the guitar version just got me crying bc of how beautiful it just sounds. And bc i love to mess around with this 6 strings instrument so yeah i like the acoustic guitar version more. Lol. But Mercy is a really good and beautiful song, not to mention that he sings it passionately. Mercy acoustic guitar version is now available on iTunes and Spotify if you want to listen to it! I highly recommend you guys to listen to this version bc if you love Mercy already, then you'll love it more and more after you listen to this version.
