Shawn Mendes has finally released the music video for his new single "Treat You Better". This song is the first hit from his upcoming sophomore album titled "Illuminate" which will be released on September 23rd. (You can pre-order Illuminate on Itunes now and instantly receive 'Treat You Better' and new track titled 'Ruin'). He's been promoting this song just about everywhere since he nailed his debut performance on MMVA last June.
The clip is a dark and moody four minutes, features shirtless Shawn pines for a girl that be with the wrong guy.
Shirtless? Yas! I know! He doesn't normally flaunt his bod but he seems like he had no problem doing so in this clip. (I swear this clip will give you butterflies bc Shawn is obviously hot af)
But overall, the messages that this clip brought was really that mattered. Shawn Mendes kinda speaks out about domestic violence thru this clip. Seems like he wants to encourage his fans not to be afraid since a number for National Domestic Violence hotline is featured at the end of this clip.
